Old setup:
New radiator, transmission cooler, and fan are in. Now I’m on the hunt for 1/2" I.d. transmission cooler hose as the stock feed line isn’t long enough to fit around the side tanks of the new radiator without rubbing.
Pic of the new setup for comparison:
Nothing’s been easy this time around.....

3valve 4.6 ! My wife’s o6 really needs that set up. Very nice.
Same color too. Only 30000 miles and all stock. Just curious how much hp you putting down and with what mods?

LOL, there’s not a lot of slack in that line and I needed the to kill power. The PCM lines had to be disconnected to facilitate installation.

Non-intercooled Whipple kit, JBA shorty headers, Kooks mufflers.
402 RWHP/365 RWTQ on a Mustang dyno.
Other mods include a double adjustable upper control arm, billet lowers with relocation brackets, Cobra Jet springs (which were the stock springs on the ‘08-’09 Bullitts), Watts link, Detroit locker, 3.73's, a Level 10 hardened transmission input shaft, and of course the wider wheels and drag radials out back.
I have a higher stall converter, but it needs re-adjusting, so the stock one is back in for now. I’ll put the new one in come spring time. I’d like to drive it a few times before the evil white powder falls from the sky.
The radiator is a Ford Racing piece. I also installed the fan setup from a 2013 GT500, and the transmission cooler from an 2011-14 Mustang with the 6 speed auto. Twice the cooling capacity.
